Welcoming Lillian Joss (click to see entire session)

My SIL has the most incredibly beautiful family, and even though I'm biased I'm sure you will agree once you've seen the images from their session. I was so happy we made the trip to Louisiana, because having the chance to photograph them was a real treat for me. I also have to give our dearest friends Heather & David a huge thank you, because not only was their home where we stayed on our trip, it was also the location for Lillians session. As you will note the beauty of their older home was inspiration for me with Lillians images. I just LOVE this session, I hope you all enjoy it as well.

Louisiana Trip

We use to live in Louisiana, in fact it's my husband's home state. We made our first trip back home, (all our children were born there), in 4 years. We've been calling TN home since 2000. It was really a great trip, and as many of my husbands siblings who could & had also moved out of town, came back to see us. We visited with so many I can not fit all the pic's on here. So I just picked some. Enjoy. We don't know when we will get to go back again. We have many great memories though to keep our hearts warm with the love we enjoyed from our family & friends.

Isaiah's in home session (click here to see entire session)

It's not even been that long since Isaiah's first session, and still I couldn't believe how much he had changed. He was so cute and wide awake and smiled at me when I arrived for his family session. He didn't last too long, and I'm very happy because I just find his sleeping photo's so adorable! He's just lovely, and I could look at him and hold him all day. It reminded me of how long it's been since my babies were actual babies! lol Though I'm sure I'm too old now to keep up with a new baby! tee hee.... enjoy, just a lovely family so pleasant and enjoying their precious little man.

Snow of course

Well lately I seems the last few posts have been more personal. I have been working tee hee, things have been pretty crazy, but my clients have been requesting locked session. So I haven't had too much to share other than my stuff. I figure if your following my blog well, you might expect I couldn't resist at least a few snow shots. Today is a crammed busy day and since I LOVE the snow I fit it in. I had to watch the sun rise, I'm a morning person. And even though I could only stand on my front stoop and back porch for a few quick shots I wanted to share. I also shot my two older kids playin in it last night. My daughter wanted to make her snow man right away so the snow would fill in the yard trails and it would all be pretty this morning. We had nothing to make a face with, and since we are a new build we had no TWIGS either. So it's just 3 big round snowy balls, but then you can always use your imagination and fill in his look yourself. ha ha

Today I made a visit to see Braden. Seems the last few times I've been to visit it's up at the hospital. Unfortunately we spent all the time I had for the visit photographing him, so I didn't ever even hold him in my arms. Cousin Miranda did though, and I did sit by him and get him to smile at me a few times. He was tired though, as it was already later in the day and we worked our super model pretty hard so I let him rest instead of grabbing him up and over stimulating him even more. Enjoy the latest of his adorable pictures, he's gotten so much bigger, and his hair is really cute and thick!

Family Visit

I've been so busy this past month. I worked every weekend in November, and had out of state family for an entire week as house guests. We also did a computer upgrade. This made keeping up with my sessions and blog very challenging. Needless to say a week into December I'm finally getting a chance to go through the few shots I had time to take while our family was here.

I wanted to share our hiking trip photo's, we went to Warner Park in Nashville, enjoyed the nature center, and a short hike up to the look out view of the Nashville sky line. With my boys, and my niece and nephew who are twins and almost 3, this short hike was a big under taking. The kids had fun, and napped hard after all the activity and fresh air.

I'm so happy my husbands brother & wife made the trip up here all the way from Texas. We really enjoyed being with them and getting to know them as a family, it's been 8 years since we've had any real time with them. It was a real treat. Not to mention my SIL's fabulous cooking! Anyhow, this is a bit on the personal side for my photography blog, but the hiking was so lovely I had to share the snap shots. (plus the kids are way cute too)....
